<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spread spectrum communication apparatus which can be developed with a short period of time while keeping its simple and small-scaled configuration even for different specifications. <P>SOLUTION: The spread spectrum communication apparatus comprises (N+1) (N is less than M) signal synthesizing means of the same configuration comprised of M taps each of which is comprised of a data register for holding I, Q of a plurality of bits, respectively, a code register for holding I, Q of one bit, respectively, and a complex multiplier for multiplying outputs of the data register and the code register by a complex; an adder for adding M tap outputs; and an output register for storing an adder output. There is provided a double stage configuration wherein outputs of other signal synthesizing means are input to one signal synthesizing means. In the signal synthesizing means of the first stage, a transmission power gain is input to the data register, and data resulting from spreading symbol data by means of a channelization code are inputted to the code register. Channels using the same scrambling code are simultaneously allocated to the signal synthesizing means of the first stages, and the scrambling code is input to the code registers in the signal synthesizing means of the following stages. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
