PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical apparatus capable of improving users' awareness of energy saving by making the consumption of resources by the electrical apparatus visible in the form of a sum of money. SOLUTION: The electrical apparatus is provided with a measuring circuit 13 for measuring the amount of resources consumed by the operation of a main body 15; an arithmetic circuit 14 for computing costs for fuel and light on the basis of the consumption of resources measured by the measuring circuit 13; and a liquid crystal panel 11 for displaying the computed costs for fuel and light. Since users can clearly understand their efforts made to save energy in the form of a sum of money, it is possible to make the effects of the users' efforts for energy saving visible, improve and maintain the users' awareness of energy saving, further reduce the consumption of resources by the electric apparatus, and reduce burden on environment.
