PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing method in which the priority of communication frame can be altered without altering the information for identifying a unit. SOLUTION: The communication system comprises a master unit for generating a communication frame including information indicative of the priority of communication, first information indicating that the transmitting direction is from a master function section to a slave function section, and information for identifying the destination and transmitting the communication frame to the outside, and a slave unit for setting second information indicating that the transmitting direction is from the slave function section to the master function section for the communication frame in place of the first information and transmitting the communication frame thus set to the master unit.
