Shock absorbers 10 and 12 of right and left front wheels are connected to hydraulic pressure chambers 54 and 60 on both sides of a variable vane 48, and shock absorbers 14 and 16 of right and left rear wheels are connected to hydraulic pressure chambers 56 and 58 on both sides of a variable vane 50. For example, when an interval between a wheel side member 17 and a car body side member 18 is reduced in the left front wheel by input from a road surface, hydraulic pressure of a hydraulic pressure chamber 24 of the shock absorber 10 reduces. Hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic pressure chamber 54 reduces, and a variable vane member 52 is rotated in the anticlockwise direction. Generated damping force is small in the shock absorber 10.
