PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a run flat core in which melting damage and softening by friction heat are hardly generated. SOLUTION: (1) The run flat core 1 has a core block connection body 10 having a plurality of core blocks 11 connected to each other in a wheel circumferential direction and fastened to a wheel 2 by a belt 40 wherein the respective core blocks of the plurality of core blocks are made of plastic, and having a shape having a box 14 in which at least one surface of an upper surface and a lower surface is released and a lattice plate 15 provided in the box for reinforcement; and a ceiling plate 50 formed in a separate piece from the core blocks and mounted to the upper surface of the respective core blocks. (2) The ceiling plate 50 is made of metal. (3) The lattice plate 15 of the core block 11 and walls 16 of front and rear ends of the box 14 radially extend relative to a center 6 of the wheel.
