<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital recording reproducing apparatus and information display method of the same, capable of easily understanding wanted recording contents in advance, by displaying a plurality of recording contents information recorded on a large-capacity recording medium, such as a harddisc or optical disc with sure and easy operation. <P>SOLUTION: With the digital recording reproducing apparatus 1, the recording contents information, such as title name and recording date/time of the contents recorded on a recording medium 70, is recorded in an information storing region. The information is read and stored in an internal memory 42 or the like. When resuming reproduction of the recording contents that has been interrupted or when switching a plurality of recording contents on the recoding medium 70, the recording contents information of the recording contents which is to be reproduced is read from the internal memory 42 or the like, and is automatically displayed along with a reproduction start image for a prescribed time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
