<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method which enables pattern transfer to a magnetic card by using a transfer sheet whereon a pattern is formed by an electrophotographic printer, the transfer sheet and a manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: A laminate of core sheets 11 and 12, an over sheet 13 having a magnetic tape transferred and the transfer sheet 2 for a patterning transfer having the pattern 24 and a magnetic tape hiding layer 26 is hot-pressed to integrate a card base and also to pattern a card surface. In this manufacturing method of the magnetic card, the transfer sheet prepared by forming the pattern of a color toner of the electrophotographic printer on the surface of a film base having a release layer and further by printing the magnetic tape hiding layer on the pattern surface is used as the transfer sheet 2 for the patterning transfer. The pattern of the transfer sheet 2 may be formed either by supplying the electrophotographic printer with a color copy or by transmitting color digital data thereto. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
