PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system, which may reduce a cost for distributing software, prevent someone from illegally copying the software, and use a detachable memory device as a recording medium while maintaining the functions capable of reading and writing data from/to the detachable device. SOLUTION: In the system for distributing the software, the detachable memory device provided by a software vendor includes an Internet browser software (hereinafter a special browser), which can only be operational in the device. The user, such as a purchaser of the software, obtains a particular software program to be executed and displayed only on the detachable memory device by using the particular Internet browser.
