PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibrating motor capable of simplifying the structure. SOLUTION: The vibrating motor 1 comprises a magnet 11 and a rotor 30 contained in a case C. The magnet 11 is secured to a base plate 10 forming a part of the case C, and the rotor 30 is arranged rotatably on the magnet 11. The rotor 30 is provided with a stationary position regulating weight 35 composed of a magnetic body and located on the boundary of the N pole and S pole of the magnet 11 when the rotor 30 is stopping. The stationary position regulating weight 35 regulates the position of the rotor 30 at the time of stoppage. Furthermore, vibration amount of the case C is increased because the stationary position regulating weight 35 is provided. In other words, the stationary position regulating weight 35 has a function for regulating the position of the rotor 30, and a function for increasing vibration of the case C.
