<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transformer structure capable of controlling internal temperature rise. <P>SOLUTION: Flux passing through a core 5 interlinks with a secondary winding 11 to induce a voltage on the secondary of a transformer, and flux not interlinking with the secondary winding 11, i.e. leakage flux, forms a leakage inductance. Since the primary winding 10 and the secondary winding 11 are arranged alternately and wound directly around the core 5 in the inventive transformer structure, magnetic coupling between the primary winding 10 and the secondary winding 11 is improved and leakage inductance can be controlled. The secondary winding 11 extending to the outside of the transformer functions as heat dissipation fins to dissipate heat efficiently thus controlling temperature rise in the transformer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
