<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distribution goodness-of-fit testing device widening a testable area for a goodness-of-fit test. <P>SOLUTION: This distribution goodness-of-fit test device is provided with a distribution estimation part 3 reading observation data from a data retaining part 2 and estimating an arrival rateλ, a summarization section decision part 4 deciding the width of a summarization section for summarizing the observation data according to the number of the observed data, a data summarization part summarizing the number of data in each of the decided summarization sections, and a goodness-of-fit test part performing a goodness-of-fit test by using the number of data in each of the summarization sections. The summarization section decision part 4 decides the summarization sections so that the width of each summarization section shows an equal probability on the estimated probability distribution, and consequently, the goodness-of-fit test can be carried out by transforming probability distributions into uniform distributions even when the probability distributions vary temporally.
