PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening pavement and a joint spacer for the greening pavement capable of preventing the movement in the longitudinal direction of a block of a block layer such as water retention, etc. in part wherein a large-sized vehicle is driven by using the joint spacer and, at the same time, obtaining the greening pavement and the joint spacer for the greening pavement enabling a cultivation space of a plant to make sure of obtainment without cutting off a joint section for planting. SOLUTION: The greening pavement comprises a base layer formed on the upper surface of a subgrade, a sand cushion layer formed by using sand on the upper surface of the base layer, the block layer such as water retention, etc. through a synthetic resin-made construction joint spacer so that a planting joint section can be formed on the upper surface of the sand cushion layer and that the vehicle can travel, the joint spacer preventing the movement in the longitudinal direction of the block of the block layer such as water retention, etc. provided to a site closed to both end sections of the block without completely cutting off the joint section in the planting joint section in both right and left directions of the block layer of the water retention, etc. and a greening layer consisting of cultivated soil filled in the planting joint section of the block layer such as water retention, etc. and the plant such as a lawn or the like planted in the cultivated soil.
