PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot melt adhesive composition with which the open time can be controlled flexibly and its method. SOLUTION: This hot melt adhesive composition comprises (a) 5-99.995 wt.% of a polyolefin comprising one or more 3-18Cα-olefins and optionally ethylene, (b) 0.005-2 wt.% of one or more nucleating agents, (c) 0-50 wt.% of a tackifier and (d) 0-30 wt.% of a wax.
