PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous dispersion of a resin composition for adhesive capable of forming an adhesive composition having excellent polymerization stability and stability of the polymer and good water resistance. SOLUTION: The aqueous dispersion of a resin composition for adhesive is produced by polymerizing (A) a radically polymerizable ethylenic unsaturated monomer containing (a) an ethylenic unsaturated monomer containing a phosphoric acid ester structure and one or more ethylenic unsaturated groups in the molecule in an aqueous medium containing a surfactant, a polymerization initiator and water as essential components.
