PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collector for a car body surface which can surely remove dust on the car body surface. SOLUTION: This dust collector 1 for the car body surface which removes the dust on the car body surface while moving on the car body BD is provided with a 1st wiping mechanism 5 which is arranged ahead in a moving direction and which has a wiper 54 for separating the dust from the car body BD by sliding on the car body BD backward and a 2nd wiping mechanism 6 which is arranged behind the 1st wiping mechanism 5 and which has a wiper 64 for separating the dust from the car body BD by sliding in a direction opposite to the wiper 54. Further, a suction mechanism 91 for sucking the dust separated from the car body BD is provided between both wiping mechanisms 5, 6 and respective wipers 54, 64 slide on the car body BD to move the dust toward the suction mechanism 91.
