The invention relates to a shifting device for a gear changing mechanism in a motor vehicle, comprising a gear-shift shaft (6) which is arranged in a gearbox housing (2) in a rotationally and axially displaceable manner and which has a shift lever (8) arranged thereon for actuation of gear-shifting, said shift lever being cinematically connected to a manual shift lever, also comprising an additional mass (14,20) which acts upon the shift lever (8) and which is rotationally arranged inside the gear housing (2), being connected to the gear-shift shaft (6) by means of an articulated element (18) such that the mass moment of inertia of the gear-shift shaft (6) is increased. According to the invention, the center of gravity of the additional mass (14, 20) essentially corresponds to the axis of rotation (16, 22) of the additional mass (14, 20). |
