The tape has a case (2) containing a tape measure (3) with concave and convex sides (5, 6). A stop plate (7), movable along the measure, is placed at a free end or head (3A) of the measure. The measure is graduated on both sides, with the same graduation, with coinciding starting or zero points. A zero line of the graduation coincides with the head. A cavity in the measure houses the plate when it is pushed axially in the measure direction. The case has an orifice (4) that allows the movement of the measure out of the case for use.
