TWO-WAY IMAGE COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, PROCESSING METHOD THEREOF, CLIENT DEVICE AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform two-way image communication using required and sufficient band and image throughput.

SOLUTION: Each of client devices used in a two-way image communication system including the client devices for encoding and transmitting video and a two-way image communication apparatus for distributing video is configured by comprising: a means for holding reception conditions and transmission conditions; a reception condition transmitting means for transmitting the reception conditions to the two-way image communication apparatus; a reception condition holding means for receiving and holding reception conditions of another client device in the two-way image communication system from the two-way image communication apparatus; a determination means for comparing the transmission conditions with maximum ones of reception conditions of the other client devices, determining the transmission conditions as an encoding parameter if they are equal, and determining smaller conditions as the encoding parameter if they are not equal; and an encoding and transmission means for encoding video using the encoding parameter, and transmitting the video to the two-way image communication apparatus.
