CLIP FOR GARNISH OF CURTAIN SHIELD AIRBAG

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip for a garnish minimizing approach to an occupant by resisting the garnish to separate from a vehicle body when a curtain shield airbag is deployed.

SOLUTION: The clip 10 comprises a body mounting part 11 mounted to a vehicle body 6, and a garnish mounting part 13 mounted to the garnish 7. The garnish mounting part 13 comprises a base part 20 connected at one end to the body mounting part 11 and extending in plate shape from the body mounting part, and a garnish locking part 22 of plate shape extending toward the body mounting part 11 through a U-shaped connection part 21 at the other end of the base part. The garnish locking part 22 is connected to a head 14 of the body mounting part 11 by locking means (a locking recessed part 18 and a locking piece 23). The garnish mounting part 13 is provided with ribs 25-27 imparting rigidity to resist the garnish locking part 22 to further open in a separating direction from the head 14.
