<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damage preventive structure by a brake pedal of a car capable of preventing a driver from being damaged by the retraction of the brake pedal during the collision of the car. <P>SOLUTION: The damage preventive structure by the brake pedal of the car includes a brake pedal mounting bracket provided to fix a hinge of a brake pedal to a vehicle body, a locking piece attached to a pedal arm of the brake pedal in a projecting manner backward of the car, and a push limiting means which is attached to the steering column mounting bracket connected to a cowl cross bar to limit the backward push of the locking piece. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
