<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance assemblability of a hood locking device by improving a structure of a cover. <P>SOLUTION: The cover 8 comprises: an upper cover part 81 which covers a latch mechanism 5 from in a vertical upper position and wherein a groove 84 for the entry of a striker 21 into the latch mechanism 5 is formed; a lower cover part 82 which covers the latch mechanism 5 from a vertical lower position; and a horizontally elongated hinge part 83 which connects the cover parts 81 and 82 to each other in a relatively rotatable manner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
