PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treated metallic material which has excellent environmental properties by non-chromium surface treatment, and further has excellent various properties such as working adhesion with an organic resin film in a high working part, adhesiveness, corrosion resistance, dent resistance, scratch resistance and wear resistance, to provide a surface treatment method for the surface treated metallic material. SOLUTION: In the surface treatment metallic material, an inorganic surface treatment layer (A) consisting essentially of inorganic components and an organic surface treatment layer (B) consisting essentially of organic components are formed on the metallic surface.
