PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To delete or eliminate an abnormal traffic band occurring from a loop, an attack, or the like, to avoid the unstableness/system failure of a network, and to collect information for identifying the factor for an abnormal traffic eliminating device for eliminating the abnormal traffic in the network. SOLUTION: Protocol identification is made to a frame received by a Port 0 or 1 reception circuit I/F section 1 or 2 at a frame analyzer 3, a retrieval keyword is extracted, and retrieval request generation, or the like to a search engine is performed. At a loop monitoring section 4 and an attack monitoring section 5, retrieval is performed based on the retrieval keyword by the retrieval request from the frame analyzer 3, the number of frame counts of the retrieval keyword is counted up when the retrieval keyword coinciding with an object to be retrieved exists in a monitoring table, the bandwidth is deleted or eliminated as the abnormal traffic when an entry exceeding a preset count threshold is detected, and their statistical information is displayed.
