PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multicarrier MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) system capable of reducing a processing delay at a receiver side. SOLUTION: The transmitter includes: a divider section (1) for dividing a signal sequence into a prescribed number of sub streams; a subcarrier arrangement section (7) for assigning a signal subjected to coding and modulation by each sub stream to each subcarrier; and an IFFT section (5) for converting the sub carrier signal into a temporal signal, a receiver includes an FFT section (12) that individually converts the temporal signals received by a plurality of reception antennas into sub carrier signals and divides the sub carrier signal into the sub stream; and a Mulling + Canceling section (13) for using a replica signal in the unit of the sub streams to execute a decoding algorithm by the BLAST system, and the receiver applies error correction to a decoding result by the decoding algorithm.
