PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of improving assembling workability of coolers and defrosting components in the refrigerator comprising the plurality of coolers. SOLUTION: In this refrigerator comprising the coolers for independently cooling a refrigeration chamber 34 and a freezing chamber 38, a cooling unit is constituted by integrally assembling a cooling unit for freezing 61, a cooling unit for refrigeration 56a and the defrosting components in advance, and the cooling units are respectively mounted on opening parts 67a, 67b formed at rear parts of inner cases of the refrigeration chamber 34 and the freezing chamber 38 from a side to which a foamed heat insulating material is packed. As the cooling units and the defrosting components can be assembled in advance before being assembled in a refrigerator main body, the work for assembling the cooling units and the defrosting components in a narrow space at a depth of the refrigerator becomes unnecessary, and the accuracy in assembling can be improved.
