PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable bleaching agent composition for external use, which gives a good sense of use, and does not cause the lowering of viscosity and the separation of the composition, even when stored for a long period. SOLUTION: Compositions for external uses, containing ascorbic acid derivatives, have problems that the compositions are affected by the ascorbic acid derivatives to lower the viscosity and easily separate. This composition for external use comprises ascorbic acid glucoside, an alkylated water-soluble polymer (excluding alkyl-modified carboxyvinyl polymers), a pH-adjusting agent, and water, and does not cause the lowering of viscosity and the separation of the composition, even when stored for a long period.
