The method involves determining parameters using a time-frequency analyser (2) and a HF direction finder (1) which both scan a preset frequency range. The parameters include the frequency, bearing, dwell time and reception level. The allocation of the parameters are displayed (4). Preferably, the determined bearing, dwell time and reception level are displayed in dependence on the frequency, with the same frequency scale on the monitor (5). The mean value of the bearing is determined using a horizontal cursor. |
