PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a satisfactory converted image while avoiding mixture of noise from a channel with much noise to a channel with a little noise when processing an image in order to convert the image from a certain color space to another color space. SOLUTION: In one embodiment, a method of digitally processing data representing at least part of an image, is described as a method comprising applying a first color adjustment transform to data relating to a first range of spatial frequency of content of the image, the first transform adapted to constrain noise amplification, and applying a second color adjustment transform to data relating to a second range of spatial frequency of content of the image.
