PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hub-type dynamo for suppressing the generation of an eddy current in a stator core and improving the power generation efficiency, and to provide a bicycle for mounting it. SOLUTION: In a hub-type cycle dynamo, a slot 15 is provided and opened in outer circumferences of the stator cores 16, 17 on a hub shaft 11, and communicates from a center shaft hole 13 to the outer circumferences, and an insulation sheet 82 is interposed between positioning members 30, 31 on the hub shaft 11 for fixing the stator cores 16, 17.
