PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a half-dummy body for a vending machine by simple structure which can contribute to cost reduction of manufacturing and hold the half-dummy body on a mounting plate irrespective of a dummy body mounting hole of the mounting plate. SOLUTION: A halved dummy body main body 1, a holding part 2, a mounting groove 3 and a locking piece 4 are formed integrally and to be elastically deformed by a plastic sheet, wherein the holding part 2 constitutes the bottom part of the dummy body main body 1, a groove bottom part is formed toward the inside of the dummy body main body, a groove opening part is formed toward the outside of the dummy body main body along an outer peripheral surface of the dummy body main body between a lower part of the dummy body main body 1 and the holding part 2 in the mounting groove 3, the locking piece 4 is oppositely arranged in a width direction of the dummy body main body 1 on both ends of a periphery edge of the holding part 2 and projected outward, the holding part 2 can be inserted into the dummy body mounting hole 51, the mounting groove 3 can be locked to an inner peripheral end of the dummy body mounting hole 51 and the locking piece 4 can be abutted on a lower surface of the mounting plate 5.
