PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ionization smoke detector emitting a fire signal when smoke exactly arrives at a specified smoke concentration even when an ambient temperature fluctuates. SOLUTION: The ionization smoke detector has: a smoke sensor outputting a sensor output voltage fluctuated with a change in an ion current caused by inflow of smoke; a temperature measurement section measuring the ambient temperature of the smoke sensor; and a signal processing section storing voltage difference to smoke concentration data previously measured at a plurality of temperatures, calculating a voltage difference from the sensor output voltage and a sensor output voltage at no inflow of smoke, obtaining the smoke concentration corresponding to the voltage difference from voltage difference to smoke concentration data at a temperature most close to the ambient temperature, and emitting the fire signal when the smoke concentration exceeds a predetermined threshold or more.
