PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an article storage area in which storage positions are balanced, and the formed article storage area to be always regenerated. SOLUTION: The rack comprises a locking means consisting of an engagement piece 162 disposed on a door body 16 and a plurality of engagement slots 173a and 173b that engage the engagement piece 162 so as to lock the door body 16 at a plurality of closing positions including the closing position at which the door body 16 advances into the inside of the rack case 11. The locking means, by moving the door body 16, forms an article storage area in a manner where the length direction of the article W is positioned almost at the center of the rack case 11 between the door body 16 and a second restrictive member 152. The rack also comprises a setting means having an engagement guiding part 191 that engages an engagement piece 162 only to a selected engagement slot 173a (or 173b), and blocks the engagement of the engagement piece 162 to the engagement slot 173b (or 173a).
