PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood inspecting/measuring instrument for acquiring an accurate measured value, regardless of the form of blood. SOLUTION: A method for finding a correction value of a blood component measured by a blood inspecting tool with a blood absorptive member, for carrying a reagent for indicating reaction to the component in blood, uses a blood sample having a known hematocrit value and finds the correction value of the blood component for each hematocrit value, based on a color change speed obtained by measuring a difference of the measured values for a measurement time.
