PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a delay in occurrence of a braking force caused by a knock-back and a deflection of a vehicle caused by a difference in braking force between right and left wheels. SOLUTION: A basic target brake pressure Pbti of each of the wheels is calculated in response to a brake operating amount of a driver (S100), and peak values Gymax and Gymin of a lateral acceleration Gy of a vehicle are calculated (S200). When a turning angle of the vehicle is judged to exceed a peak value on the basis of the peak values Gymax and Gymin and the turning angle of the vehicle exceeds the peak value, a target increased brake pressure Pptfl or Pptfr of the turning outer front wheel for restricting the knock-back is calculated (S300). When the target increase brake application pressure Pcj is higher than a target brake application pressure Pbtj corresponding to it, the brake application pressure for the turning outer front wheel is increased until the brake application pressure Pj of the turning outer front wheel reaches or exceeds the target increased brake application pressure (S500 to 650).
