PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the weight to be reduced, and also, to prevent the reduction of a clamping force resulting from the deterioration or deformation of a synthetic resin from occurring in a sprocket for bicycle having an internal fixing section made of the synthetic resin. SOLUTION: This sprocket 71 for bicycle is fixed to a gear crank 51 of a bicycle with a bolt 80 and keeps the outer periphery wound with a chain for driving the bicycle. The sprocket 71 is equipped with a sprocket ring section 90, the internal fixing section 91 and a cylindrical member 92. For the sprocket ring section 90, sprocket teeth 90a on which the chain is wound are formed on the outer periphery. The internal fixing section has an attaching hole 91e for the fixation to the gear crank, and is one made of the synthetic resin which is connected with the sprocket ring section on the inner peripheral side of the sprocket tooth formed section. The cylindrical member is fitted in an attaching hole, and is a member made of a metal having a first contact surface 92c for receiving a force from the bolt 80. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
