PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing material filling discontinuous part of the subject to be coated with the sealing agent without leaving a space before electrodeposition coating and preventing defect of the sealing agent after electrodeposition coating such as pin-hole or crack, etc., and capable of being coated after electrodeposition with other coating agent, (for example, coating with a coating agent used for body coating of an automobile). SOLUTION: The invention relates to the sealing material 1 for sealing discontinuous part on the subject to be adhered. The sealing material comprises a sealing layer 3 filling the discontinuous part by causing plastic deformation with a small stress and adhering to the discontinuous part by thermal curing and surface layer 2 laminated on upper face of the sealing layer 3 and the layer has no stickiness and not easily causing plastic deformation, wherein the surface layer 2 has excellent coating film adhesion and thermal cycle resistance.
