OBJECT FLOATING UNIT AND OBJECT FLOATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object floating unit of simple structure capable of obtaining non-contact condition by efficiently floating objects such as a board with power as small as possible in response to increase of dimension of a display or the like. SOLUTION: A gas discharge opening 17 is formed between an opening edge of a recessed part 12 provided in a surface of a plate-like unit main body 11 and a plate-like lid plate 15 for covering the recessed part 12 with a clearance forming a gas supply passage between the recessed part 12, and a slope is formed from the discharge opening 17 to the outside of the recessed part 12 to discharge the gas. The gas discharged from the discharge opening 17 can efficiently float the object with dynamic pressure directly abutting on the floating object on the floating unit and static pressure formed in the clearance part between the floating unit 11 and the floating object.
