Error handling method, especially for a client-server architecture, in which 1 to m calling components call up 1 to n called components and wherein at least one calling component detects an error during execution of a service. The called up components transfer error- specific instructions or statements to the calling components relating to an obligatory error handling procedure. The invention also relates to a corresponding arrangement and software for implementation of the inventive method.
