VIDEOPHONE, VIDEO RECORDING METHOD USED FOR SAME, AND ITS PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a videophone capable of recording an image during a videophone call without the need for using an LSI particularized for moving picture processing at communication of the videophone.

SOLUTION: When starting recording processing of a videophone image during a videophone communication, a main control section 1 informs a moving picture processing section 3 about start of the recording processing of the videophone image, and the moving picture processing section 3 collects moving picture decode image just after and a moving picture control parameter used at that time. The master control section 1 respectively stores the moving picture decode image collected from the moving picture processing section 3 to a head image storage section 41 and stores the moving picture control parameter to a moving picture control information storage section 42 at that time. Upon the receipt of moving picture bit stream data from an opposite station through a communication control section 2, the main control section 1 does not decode the received moving picture bit stream data but records the moving picture bit stream data to a moving picture bit stream storage section 43.
