<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reformer capable of improving reaction efficiency and heat efficiency by a simple structure, and a fuel cell system adopting this. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell system includes the reformer to generate hydrogen from fuel containing hydrogen, at least one electricity generating part to generate electric energy by an electrochemical reaction of hydrogen and oxygen, a fuel supply source to supply the fuel to the reformer, and an oxygen supply source to supply oxygen to the reformer and the electricity generating part. The reformer 30 includes a plurality of substrates 31a, 32a, 33a and 34a laminated while forming passages 31d, 32d, 33d and 34d in which the fuel or gas flows, and catalyst layers 31e, 32e, 33e and 34e formed on the whole face constituting the respective passages. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
