<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display in which occurrence of display unevenness is suppressed, even if a panel member is stuck to the rear face of the liquid crystal panel for display with a polarizing plate disposed thereon via an adhesive layer. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display is equipped with the liquid crystal panel for display 110, with the polarizing plate 115 adhered to the rear face thereof and a panel member 120 adhered to the rear face of the liquid crystal panel for display 110 via an adhesive layer 130 disposed so as to embed the polarizing plate 115.
