PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device, a method, and a program which realize setting of the destination suitable for the express sending, such as mailing of postal matter or the route guidance, by notifying the user of collection facilities, such as mailboxes that can still make it on time for today's collection, in view of the position of the departure point and the date and time. SOLUTION: Facilities data in a storage medium 11 includes information on the collection time for each of the collection facilities. When a prescribed instruction is inputted from an input part 14, a search part 55 for searching for a post or the like searches for the collection facilities, positioned within a prescribed range from the prescribed departure point, by a search part 51. An estimation part 56 calculates the distance of the route to each of the searched collection facilities and the arrival times, by a navigation part 53, with reference to the prescribed departure point. A selection part 57 selects the facilities data on the collection facilities, having the collection time after the calculated arrival time. An output control part 58 outputs a part or all of the contents of the facilities data of the selected collection facilities from a display 4 via a display control part 3.
