PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a viewer to easily view any real object with or without a CG image superimposed thereon in an image generating method for generating a CG image aligned with the real world or its video image. SOLUTION: A CG masking area not to superimpose CG is set so as not to superimpose the CG on a real object contained in the CG masking area.
