PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polishing jig capable of polishing the tip face of a stub into a uniform state after each polishing process of rough polishing, intermediate finishing, and finishing, and also, capable of reducing man-hours for replacing the stub in the polishing jig for polishing the tip face of the stub composed by bonding and fixing an optical fiber. SOLUTION: The polishing jig 17 polishes the tip face side of the stub 1 composed by bonding and fixing the optical fiber 2 to a through-hole 3a of a ferrule 3. The polishing jig is provided with a holding tool 12 having a through-hole 13 for slidably holding the stub.
