摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerant evaporator capable of uniformly distributing a refrigerant in the longitudinal direction of a core by allowing the refrigerant to flow from an upper part, and coping with the variation of a core length by a similar tank component. SOLUTION: In this refrigerant evaporator, an upstream-side tank part 2 is constituted to form a stacking-direction refrigerant distribution passage 13 for distributing the refrigerant in the stacking direction, a refrigerant distributing space 15a for distributing the refrigerant in the cross direction of a heat exchange tube 4, and a cross-direction communication passage 1a and a cross direction refrigerant distributing passage 12a formed therebetween to allow the refrigerant supplied from the stacking-direction refrigerant distributing passage 13a to the cross direction once, and then supplied to the cross-direction refrigerant distributing passage 12a. Thus the desired distribution of refrigerant can be achieved in the core length direction even in the full passage. Further a pressure loss of the refrigerant can be reduced by applying the full passage. The designing can be easily performed even when the core length is changed, and the change in the core length can be coped with the similar tank component, thus the refrigerant evaporator can be inexpensively manufactured. Further a refrigerant inflow port can be determined at an upper part, which is advantageous in being loaded on an air conditioning unit. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
