PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a showcase capable of properly controlling a temperature in a display chamber. SOLUTION: This showcase 1 having the display chamber 11 constituted in a heat insulating wall 3, and a shelf device 4 installed in the display chamber 11 for displaying commodities, further comprises an electric heater for heating the commodities on a shelf plate 22, a shelf upper part sensor 44 for detecting a shelf upper part temperature as an internal air temperature of the display chamber 11 at an upper part of the shelf device, and a control device for controlling the power distribution to the electric heater on the basis of the output of the shelf upper part sensor 44.
