PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily grasp a number associated with a button even when the arrangement of numbers associated with buttons is different from the arrangement of the display positions of the buttons. SOLUTION: In a configuration, wherein the buttons are displayed on a display device 19 on the basis of highlight information read out of an optical disk 1 and when a numerical key is used to input the number associated with a button in the highlight information, an operation corresponding to the inputted number is carried out, a button displaying means 21 for displaying numerical characters showing associated numbers while associated with buttons as display different from display of a character string shown in a sub-picture concerning each of the buttons displayed at a position shown by the highlight information is provided to a DVD player.
