PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device wherein vibrations generated during disk rotation are suppressed by a simple structure. SOLUTION: In a disk device 1, a disk drive part 12 for rotating a disk D and an optical pickup part 15 for reproducing or recording information from or to the disk are held by a frame member 11, and the frame member is fixed to the side of an enclosure 2 through buffer members 5, and a plurality of receiving parts 11a to 11d with which the buffer members 5 are engaged are formed in the frame member, and respective receiving parts have homogeneous buffer members 5 engaged therewith and are so formed that the buffer members are different in apparent hardness. The buffer members can be adjusted to hardness suitable for preventing vibrations in their arrangement positions by changing shapes of the receiving parts. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
