PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable aqueous resin composition forming a coated film showing a good finished appearance, and excellent in weather resistance and waterproof property even under an ordinary temperature. SOLUTION: This curable aqueous resin composition contains (A) an aqueous fatty acid-modified resin dispersion produced by finely dispersing a monomer mixture containing (a) a fatty acid-modified polymerizable unsaturated monomer and (b) another polymerizable unsaturated monomer in an aqueous medium so as to become≤500 nm mean particle diameter and polymerizing the obtained emulsion, (B) an aqueous resin dispersion other than the dispersion (A), containing carbonyl groups and (C) a hydrazine derivative.
