PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dentin recalcification promotor exhibiting excellent recalcification promoting action, compared with a conventional promotor, particularly exhibiting excellent recalcification-promoting action on a decalcified dentin and to provide a method for recalcifying the decalcified dentin. SOLUTION: The dentin recalcification promotor comprises (a) a monomer having a hydroxy group and (b) a monomer having a phosphorus atom-containing acidic group as active ingredients, and the formulation ratio of the monomer (b) having the phosphorus atom-containing acidic group to the monomer (a) having a hydroxy group is 5-200 wt.%. The method for recalcifying the decalcified dentin comprises adding the dentin recalcification promotor to the decalcified dentin and inducing recalcification of the decalcified dentin by using an alkaline substance.
